♦ The marks of the candidate are calculated for Best 4 and to see whether the percentage tally the cut-offs or not. St Stephens and Jesus & Mary College cut off is based on the entrance test conducted by these colleges.

♦ Due to the students scoring high in CBSE Board Exam, the cut-offs have been high for past few years. Cut-offs for courses like B.Com Hons and B.Sc Hons score very high. This time it is expected to reach 99 %.

♦ This time CBSE topper has secured 99.6 % and the cut-offs are expected to be high as well. Students really score good which makes it difficult for average students to make it to the colleges because of high cut-offs. Many dreams are shattered because of this high cut-offs.

Let’s take a look at 2016 cut off list for B.Com Hons released by colleges

College Name Course Name  Cut Off (percentage)
SRCC B.com Hons  98
Hans Raj B.com Hons  97.75
CVS B.com Hons  96.5
Gargi B.com Hons  96
Aryabhatt B.com Hons  95

Looking at the last year cut-off list, 2017 cut-off list is expected to rise in numbers as the frequency of students scoring cent percent has increased and students are doing fairly well in the examinations.

2017 cut-off list is expected to fairly increase than 2016 cut off list. As the percentage keeps increasing, cut-offs continue to soar high making the competition tough and students missing a chance to make it by just a few number into their dream college or course.

Let’s wait for the first cut-off list to be out to watch the rise in percentage and how tough it gets for the students to make it.
